CHURCH CAMPP.

wheeee... just camp back from sec three church campp. it was nicee. i love it. =) hmmm. i shall blog about the whole thing.

here it goes! the first day.. i reached church at EXACTLY 730am. i wasn't late. but i was the last girl to arrive i think. the rest reached at 7am. oh. so i was actually sorta late as compared to them. ummm. oh ya then we went to st. thomas aquinas room and waited for the camp to start. father terence requested us to surrender our handphones and other electronic devices like mp3 players. sighh. so it all started with a treasure hunt..um not exactly a treasure hunt la i should say..it's um. just a mini hunt. yea.. so we gotta go around the church compound to search for slips of bible verses. it was kinda easy to find it la( with janice's help) haha..yay. then had group sharing. i was in group 6. with sherlyn..jeremy(lo)..joel..priscilla..keith..and justina. =) yea.. then justina taught us the 'retarded fingers' game. hahaa... it's seriously retarded man. haha... but we din have time to play cos gotta take our bags up the bus to go to girl's brigade. the bus driver was so..blur. he went past the girl's brigade but din realise. so he toook a biggg u-turn and then go back again. haha.. the bus sudenly stopped at a very old building and i bet everyone on the bus was like praying that that's not the place we're gonna spend three days in. luckily it wasnt the place. yea so finally reached girl's brigade which was much nicer than the old building. wheee..then soon we went to our dormitories. ahh it's so cool.. only seven girls was in our room and we each got a nice bed. haha.. double deckers. i took the upper one!! hahaha..jo was beside me. the seven of us were me, jo, janice, zara, angelyn, anne and mag. wheee...it's like so comfortable...sorta like a mini hotel. haha.. then at first we were scared that in the night there will be..you know wad. so we planned to take out our bibles and each hold a bible to sleep. so after unloading our bags..we had our lunch and yea.. our first lunch there. then i was still asking zara if we need to show our pckets before throwing it away to let them check if i have left any bit of food. and zara was like laughing hard cos it wasnt a training camp you see. we dun have togo through that procedure. i guess my brain still stopped at the sjab zone advanced nco camp.ohhh. then jeremy lo and desmond biswas were asked to teach us an action song. 'romans'...i think it goes like...

yea i think it goes that way or something like that. then girls had to do for the guys to see cos we were soft. yea.. anyway. then i think we went into a room then like sat down together.. did some praise and worship but it wasnt really of much enthusiasm. then we were supposed to think of group name. my group had no idea wad we should name our group.. so we called ourselves
'un-named'. hahaha.. the other groups were'zipless', 'popcorn', 'sandra' ( named after sandra),'jocob biscuits' and the last one i cant remember. then did more sharings... then...it's play timeee. we played...um..not exactly any kinda ball cos we sorta changed the whole game. it was actually supposed to be...captain's ball i thinkk. yea. but the guys combined it into 'captain's ball cum basketball cum netball cum some soccer( yea. you can actually kick the balls too)' so that's the title of the game. most of the game the guys played. cos well... it's seriously hard to play with guys when they throw balls with rugby style..but at least i manage to play some of it. i remember last year was worse. it was actually somewhat like captain's ball but the guys ended up playing rugby in the end. so we girls had to just stand one side and see the show cos we were invisible though we were in the game. maybe not all the girls stood there and stare la. but me and sandra sorta gave up playing and so we were stoning. so this year was much nicer. hahaha...
then went to bathe...then had silent diner( one person per table cos we were late for dinner)whee then it was time for healing session. it's a pray over thingy...and....it was nice...got slained..=))) i let go of all my burdens and lay ly life in the hands of god. it's as if i ahve pressed the 'refresh' button in me and now im so freeee of my burdens.almost everyone else felt it too. praise the lord!! then it was night time....the bed was so nicee....Mmmmmm..

second day..had to wake up early. sighh i din get enough sleep. we had breakfast...then did sharings...then i cant really remember..umm. i think we had mass. father terence was talking about 'wad is the holy spirit'..then i realise i dun really know wad it's all about too.yea.. ohh. then my group finally managed to play the 'retarded fingers' game. hahahaha..it was niceee. we din really manage to get a winner( the one with the most retarded fingers) but i guess it should be keith la. hahaha... his fingers are funnyand he gets so blur with his fingers. whee...and did more of praise and worship. this time round it was with alot alot more enthusiasm..i guess cos of the healing session on the first night. i only remembered we sang 'awesome god', 'my best friend' and 'one way'..

yeppp. then we had another hunt again. haha.. let me recall.. we had to find..
2 different coloured hairbands
1 LP shirt( which only kevin had at that time)
1 pink watch
5 twigs
1 strand of long curly hair
2 pairs of shoelaces
1 nokia handphone
1 mp3 player
1 lizard(alive)

whee..me and joel had a hard time finding the lizard( though i dun dare to catch).haha..then jeremy had to climb the big tree so that sheila would lend us her phone. our phones were surrendered. hahahaha..whee. my group managed to persuade kevin to strip and lend us his shirt.hahaha...in exchange jeremy had to lend kevin his shirt. hahaha..the most hilariou part was that after the whole hunt thingy.. joel told us he stepped on a mango and mag also told me that she stepped on a mango while searching for things! hahaha..the mango was actually round but she sorta flattened it. LOL. then sherlyn and audrey din know about that and thot maybe the the mango dropped from a reasonably tall tree which would flatten the mango. LOLLLL. naughty mag. hahahahaa... then guess wad. joel say when he stepped on it..the whole mango became like a shit. hahahaa... so mag stepped on it first..then followed by joel. LOLL...so funnyyy... hahahaha...they actually stepped on the same thing. pooor mango... hahhaa...joel had to go and wash his slippers. anyway. around ten of us played police and thief after that. hahaha..cos it was free time. i was the police. and i managed to catch sandra.MUAHAHA... then bathing time... i was the last to bathe! so sadd. i was actually at the front of the queue but i went back the dorm to get my towel. then when i came back everyone was in front of me. i was so dumbb. and all because of sandra. she bathed so long. hahaha..no la not exactly loong. but yea. it was longg la. hahaha... she had some stupid ideas like wad. use a hose and pass it to the next cubicle so that the next person could bathe using a hose. back to the point that she bathed loong..( it was long and she could still crap while bathing while i was suffering outside) hahaa... anyway..being a nice person i've forgived her. =)) so. had dinner...this time not silent one. yea...then it was another session..for awakening ourselves and retrieve the gifts in ourselves that we had loong buried inside our hearts. yes and this time it was more intense then the first night. everyone was praying hard and concentrating. the atmosphere was tense..'come holy spirit...come...' yea....this time for me it was kinda painful...well it was very painful. i got slained thrice. the first time my head was soooooo painful. i can even feel it every now and then.. yea..but then it got all peaceful and nice in the end. though my head still hurts now. did sharings and almost everyone was crying so badly... i could feel the holy spirit... then night time...me mag and janice squeezed ourselves in one bed so as to like enjoy the last night. haha.. zara and anne slept on another bed. jo and angelyn left the camp cos one was going to OBS and the other to malaysia. yea... i think the other girl's dorm had ten people. hahaha...guy's each had ten to eleven people in a dorm. so anyway..the five of us were sleeping quite close together..especially me mag and janice cos the bed was a single sized one and the three of us squeezed in there. then we did alot of sharings...wad a memorable night..=)))

yea so the next day we couldnt really get up cos we were so lacked of sleep. yea...but we din regret the sharings la. haha...anyhow. the last day of the campp. we did cleaning ups but there wasnt really much things to do cos the girl's brigade was soooo clean... as compared to the zone sjab nco camp last year. we had to do so much cleaning up.. like every bit of hair also must clean..but it was niceeeeeee. haha... yea..then did praise and worship and had mass. yea...then did cleaning up again but there wasnt really anything as i have mentioned. so then that was like the end of camp la.

SADD.
but im refreshed.
wheee....i'll start my life anew.
